Dolci Frutta Berry-Filled Chocolate Waffle Cone

Ingredients

  • 1 Container Dolci Frutta Hard Chocolate Shell
  • 1 Container each of Wish Farms strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries
  • 1 Package (16) waffle cones
  • Waxed paper

Directions

  • Line baking sheet with waxed paper
  • Wash berries, blot with paper towel and allow to thoroughly air dry
  • Melting the wafers: Melt Dolci Frutta wafers in their microwaveable container at ½ power. Stir at 30-second intervals during microwaving until Dolci Frutta is fully melted and smooth – about 2 minutes. IMPORTANT: melted wafers retain their shape until stirred. DO NOT boil or overheat! Chocolate should only be about 105°F (just warm to the touch) for good dipping consistency.
  • Dip the open end of the waffle cone and gently shake to remove excess chocolate. Lay waffle cones on waxed paper on their side to dry
  • Dip berries as desired and set on waxed paper to dry
  • Fill waffle cones with berries and place in large bowl or cone holder, berry side up
  • Optional: place dollop of whipped cream on top of cones for decoration
