Ingredients
Blueberry Apple Filling
- 6 Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1 1/2 Cups Wish Farms blueberries, washed and patted dry
- ½ Cup granulated or brown sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
Cookie Topping
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
- 2/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
Directions
Making the Filling
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, combine chopped apples, blueberries, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix until apples and blueberries are fully coated in mixture.
- Add mixture to baking dish. Set aside.
Making the Cookie Topping
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk together.
- Add in eggs and melted butter, and stir until a thick dough is formed.
Making the Cobbler
- Add dollops of dough over the top of the blueberry apple mixture.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until cookie topping turns golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm and enjoy with vanilla ice cream.
