These raspberry honey mustard chicken sliders are sure to be a showstopper! This slider combines crispy fried chicken with sweet and tangy raspberry honey mustard sauce, making for a delicious appetizer or game day snack.
Ingredients
Raspberry Honey Mustard Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Dijon mustard
- 1/2 Cup honey
- 1 Cup Wish Farms raspberries
Fried Chicken
- 2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 Cups all purpose flour
- 2 Teaspoons salt
- 2 Teaspoons black pepper
- 2 Teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 Teaspoons paprika
Sliders
- 8 Brioche dinner rolls or slider rolls
- 4 Slices white cheddar cheese, cut in half
- Arugula
- Raspberry honey mustard sauce
Directions
Raspberry Honey Mustard Sauce
- In a saucepan, combine Dijon mustard, honey, and raspberries.
- Cook sauce over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, or until sauce is red and bubbling.
- Remove from heat and let sauce cool to room temperature.
Fried Chicken
- Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise, then the halves in half crosswise, creating 8 slider-sized pieces.
- Combine all seasonings in a small bowl. Using about half of the mixture, season your chicken.
- In a separate bowl mix flour with remaining half of seasonings.
- Dip each piece of chicken in flour mixture, then beaten eggs, then again in flour.
- Fry chicken until golden brown, then place on paper towel-lined plate to soak up excess oil.
Assembling the Sliders
- Cut dinner rolls in half creating a top and bottom bun.
- Place 1 tablespoon of raspberry honey mustard sauce on bottom bun, then stack fried chicken, white cheddar, and arugula on slider. Top with additional sauce, then add top bun.
- Serve immediately.
