easyWho doesn’t love a holiday cocktail? Santa’s Strawberry & Pineberry Cocktail is a fun twist on a classic cocktail, using a strawberry and pineberry simple syrup in the place of grenadine! This cocktail can be exclusively made with strawberries or pineberries, depending on your preferences, and vodka is optional, making for a tasty mocktail option.
Ingredients
Strawberry and Pineberry Simple Syrup
- 1/2 Cup Wish Farms Strawberries, rinsed and tops removed
- 1/2 Cup Wish Farms Pineberries, rinsed and tops removed
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Cup Sugar
Making the Cocktail
- 2 oz strawberry simple syrup
- 1 oz lime juice (and extra for rim of glass)
- 2 oz vodka (optional)
- 4-6 oz lemon lime soda
- 2 Wish Farms strawberries to garnish
- 1 Wish Farms pineberry
- 1 mini marshmallow
- 1 toothpick
- Sugar sprinkles for rim of glass
Directions
Making the Syrup
- In a saucepan, combine strawberries, pineberries, sugar, and water.
- Cook over medium heat for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat, then strain syrup into jar.
Making the Cocktail
- Dip rim of glass in lime juice, then in sugar sprinkles.
- Add ice to a glass.
- Pour strawberry simple syrup to glass.
- Add lime juice and vodka to glass.
- Top glass with lemon lime soda.
- Add 1 sliced strawberry and 1 sliced pineberry to glass.
- Stir.
- Add one strawberry and mini marshmallow to toothpick, and garnish.
- Serve immediately.
