Wow your Halloween party guests with this Strawberry BOO-Schetta! A classic bruschetta with a sweet and spooky twist, this recipe makes for a fun and easy appetizer.
Ingredients
- Baguette or crostini
- 1/2 Cup Wish Farms strawberries, chopped
- 1/2 Cup tomatoes, chopped
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon black pepper
- 4 Basil leaves, chopped
- 1 Block mozzarella
- Ghost or pumpkin cookie cutter
- Balsamic glaze
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (if using baguette)
- Cut baguette into slices.
- Bake baguette in oven for 5-7 minutes, or until crunchy. Let baguette cool.
- In a bowl, combine strawberries, tomatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, and basil.
- Scoop bruschetta on to bread or crostini.
- Using cookie cutter, cut ghosts or pumpkins into sliced mozzarella, and place on top of bruschetta.
- Using a toothpick and balsamic glaze, create faces on ghosts or pumpkins. Serve immediately.
