Due to the Covid-19 crisis, schools across the nation are closed. While some children carry on with their lives e-learning, others are left without many options for food. Many children across the nation rely on meals provided by their school. They are now faced with the unsettling feeling of not knowing where their next meal will come from.
With the student’s health and happiness in mind, we donated 10 pallets of fresh strawberries to all the schools in Hardee County, Florida, a school district near our main company farm in Duette, FL. Our donations helped ensure that families in their community had access to fresh, healthy and immune-supporting produce during this time.
