The Wish Farms Family Foundation has set aside funds to donate to our employee’s favorite charities. As part of our ongoing effort to make an impact in our community, we want to learn about the causes that our pixies care about. Each month, The Wish Farms Family Foundation reviews employee nominations and chooses a different organization to donate to. For the month of October, $1,000 was donated to The Florida Disaster Fund.
With the horrible destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Ian, the foundation is rushed a $1,000 donation in honor of all of our employees to support relief efforts in Southwest and Central Florida.
About Volunteer Florida and The Florida Disaster Fund:
The Florida Disaster Fund is the State of Florida’s official private fund established to assist Florida’s communities as they respond to and recover during times of emergency or disaster. In partnership with the public sector, private sector and other non-governmental organizations, the Florida Disaster Fund supports response and recovery activities. The agency is guided by a bipartisan board of Commissioners, who are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Florida Senate.
