How are Wish Farms Pink-A-Boo® Pineberries grown?

You might be wondering, how in the world do they grow Pink-A-Boo® Pineberries? Is there a special ingredient or additive? Were they picked before they got ripe? Did they go out to the farm at night and spray paint the red ones?

They Grow Like That, Naturally!

That all sounds awfully difficult for our farmers to pull off. We would prefer to just grow a berry on a plant from a natural seed. In fact, that’s what we do!

Wish Farms calls them Pink-A-Boo Pineberries Ripe and Ready® because they turn pink when they’re ripe and they have a natural essence of pineapple flavor! No, we didn’t cross a pineapple with a strawberry. The variety was developed using traditional breeding techniques, and they are non-GMO. The growing practices are identical to those of red strawberries…they actually grow side by side at the same farms. Wish Farms is proud to grow them in Plant City and Duette, Florida, as well as Santa Maria, Oxnard, and Salinas, California.
