The Wish Farms Family Foundation has set aside funds to donate to our employee’s favorite charities. As part of our ongoing effort to make an impact in our community, we want to learn about the causes that our pixies care about. Each month, The Wish Farms Family Foundation reviews employee nominations and chooses a different organization to donate to. We started this program in 2022 and it was such a success, we are continuing with our employee grant program in 2023. For the month of February, $1,000 was donated to We Care of Central Florida.
About We Care of Central Florida:
We Care “Project Think Pink” is the only active program in the county that provides access to the entire continuum of care for breast health services (screening, diagnostic treatment, and follow-up care) including wigs, post-surgery undergarments, and support groups.
“We Care of Central Florida “Project Think Pink” provides FREE mammograms and diagnostic breast healthcare services to low income and uninsured residents in Polk County. My mom, Ruth Ann, is on the board and planning committee of an annual fundraiser called “Save Your Sweethearts”. The annual event is hosted at my parent’s community center where residents raise money and awareness for this wonderful organization.” – Amber Maloney
