The Wish Farms Family Foundation has set aside funds to donate to our employees’ favorite charities. As part of our ongoing effort to make an impact in our community, we want to learn about the causes that our pixies care about. Each month, The Wish Farms Family Foundation reviews employee nominations and chooses a different organization to donate to. We started this program in 2022 and it was such a success, we are continuing with our employee grant program in 2026. For the month of June, $1,000 was donated to Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation.
About Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation.
The Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation is a non-profit organization established to raise funds for awareness, early detection and research of esophageal cancer in hopes of a cure. Cases have risen over 733% in the past four decades and is considered the fastest growing cancer in the United States. In 2025 alone, an estimated 22,070 will be diagnosed with esophageal cancer and there will be an estimated 16,250 deaths.
