Finch has been involved in farming for as long as he can remember. Both his father and grandfather were farmers in California growing a variety of different crops. After graduating from Cal Poly, he moved to Hawaii to farm pineapples. Following his Hawaiian adventures, he returned to California where he currently works as a sales representative for an organic fertilizer company providing consultation to local berry growers. Finch had an opportunity to purchase a ranch that had never been farmed and knew growing organic blueberries would be ideal for the soil and landscape. Currently, Finch, his wife, and two children live on the ranch and truly enjoy the California outdoors. Finch also stays involved with students at his alma mater, Cal Poly.
Once considered a hobby to Finch, blueberry farming is now his passion. “Growing organic varieties that taste great is a job I am extremely proud to do every day.”
