Florida strawberry season moves fast, especially during February and March when the crop reaches its peak. During this time, fields are producing at full volume, and while many berries head straight to stores, not every strawberry is the right fit for the fresh market.
That is where our strawberry processing program comes in! We are proud to be the only strawberry processor in the state of Florida, allowing us to make sure great‑tasting strawberries still have a purpose, even when the market is crowded or fruit does not meet fresh‑pack standards.
Some strawberries may be smaller, softer, or less visually perfect than what you see in stores. While they may not be ideal for packing and shipping fresh, they still deliver excellent flavor.
Instead of letting those berries go to waste, we transform them into high‑quality strawberry ingredients used in foods people love every day.
We produce:
- Strawberry purée, with or without seeds
- Sweetened sliced strawberries, blended at four parts strawberries to one part sugar
These products are used by food makers in smoothies, ice creams, yogurts, beverages, desserts, and other strawberry‑forward treats.
Why It’s Good for You and for Growers
Processing strawberries during peak season helps in two important ways.
First, it helps support Florida growers by creating an outlet for fruit when fresh markets are soft, returning value during the busiest weeks of the season.
Second, it helps keep fresh strawberries in stores at their best. By diverting fruit that is not ideal for fresh packing, we maintain high quality and consistency for shoppers.
It is all about making sure each strawberry ends up where it belongs.
Our processing program reflects our commitment to reducing food waste, supporting local agriculture, and delivering quality across every product we offer.
Peak season should not mean compromise. With the right systems in place, it means opportunity. Opportunity to honor the work of our growers, protect quality for consumers, and make the most of every Florida strawberry!
