Wish Farms Fresh Berries Remain a Safe and Delicious Choice

Recent news about Cyclospora illnesses has understandably raised questions among consumers. The good news is that, based on information currently available from public health officials, berries have not been linked to these investigations.

Federal agencies investigating Cyclospora cases have not identified strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries as a source of illness, and no berry recalls have been issued. In fact, investigators have traced one major multi-state outbreak to shredded iceberg lettuce served at certain Taco Bell locations.

Food safety remains a top priority at Wish Farms and throughout the berry industry. Growers, packers, and suppliers follow strict food safety practices designed to help ensure consumers receive safe, high-quality fruit every day.

As FDA and CDC continue their work, consumers can feel confident continuing to enjoy fresh berries as part of a healthy diet. We will keep monitoring updates from health authorities and remain committed to transparency, quality, and food safety at every step of the supply chain.

For now, the message is simple: fresh berries remain safe, nutritious, and ready to enjoy!
