We have a career opportunity available for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Shipping Clerk at our farming location, G&D Farms, located in Manatee County (Duette, FL).
G&D Farms is looking for a dependable Shipping Clerk to join our team for primarily evening shift hours. This is a hands-on, onsite role supporting our shipping operations and helping keep product moving accurately and on time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Complete daily shipping and receiving paperwork
- Verify orders, bills of lading, and shipment records
- Coordinate with warehouse and loading teams
- Track inventory and shipments
- Assist with general dock/warehouse tasks as needed
- Desire to work on the farm side in the shipping offseason
- Operate a forklift (helpful but not required)
- Provide general operational support by assisting with miscellaneous farm needs as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Agriculture or warehouse experience
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and record-keeping skills
- Comfortable working evenings as this is for an evening clerk position
- Computer and paperwork skills a must, experience with Famous of RF Smart helpful
- Forklift experience a plus
- Prior experience in agriculture, food safety, or farm compliance preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and resourceful with a “hands-on” approach.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
