Role Overview
Wish Farms is seeking a Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to load, unload, move, and organize pallets of fresh berries within a temperature-controlled refrigerated warehouse environment. You will help ensure inventory accuracy, maintain an organized and safe work area, and support daily warehouse operations to meet shipping deadlines while upholding the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts in a refrigerated warehouse environment (approximately 34°F) to load, unload, transport, and store pallets of fresh berries, processed berries, and other materials.
- Accurately prepare, stage, and load outbound shipments in accordance with customer orders, quality standards, and shipping schedules.
- Verify shipment contents against order documentation and maintain accurate inventory and product movement records.
- Safely handle perishable products to prevent damage and ensure product quality and freshness.
- Organize, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations while adhering to inventory control procedures and FIFO practices.
- Perform daily forklift and equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure all inventory is properly scanned and recorded in the warehouse management system.
- Follow all company safety policies, food safety requirements, and warehouse operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity, quality, and customer service objectives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or cold storage environment preferred.
- Forklift certification or the ability to successfully obtain certification.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and follow established safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a refrigerated environment maintained at approximately 34°F.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy and product quality.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and extended shifts during peak seasons as business needs require.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated warehouse environment (approximately 34°F).
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toe footwear.
