Position: Full time

Location: Plant City, FL

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate shipping and receiving documentation and the distribution of all necessary documents to accurately and effectively carry out all shipping and receiving functions. Coordinate the check-in of trucks, door assignments, and support the warehouse team by keeping records organized and up to date. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role plays a critical part in ensuring product and paperwork match, while also being ready to “pitch in” with operational tasks when extra help is needed in all areas of the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and verify bills of lading, inbound receipts, and other shipping documents for accuracy.
  • Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments to keep loading and receiving on schedule.
  • Enter data into ERP systems to ensure accurate inventory records and traceability.
  • Track and reconcile shipments, following up on discrepancies with the Supervisor.
  • Maintain organized files for shipments, compliance documentation, and inventory adjustments.
  • Support warehouse operations by assisting with staging, labeling, or inventory counts when needed.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to Leads, Supervisors, and drivers to keep product moving efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving office area.
  • Assist with traffic flow around shipping/receiving doors to ensure safe operations.
  • Work additional hours during peak season to support shipping deadlines.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Extremely well organized with attention to detail in high volume situations
  • Strong work ethics and proven problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, vendors and contractors
  • Standard work week of 40 to 50 hours, with some weeks requiring more than 50 hours depending on the season and workload
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow in the company
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft office programs and ERP systems
  • Passion for agriculture and people
  • Work nights, weekends, rotating shifts.
