Wish Farms is proud to welcome Gillman Farms to the strawberry growing family. Plant City natives, Lee and Dixie Gillman, operate their 44-acre strawberry farm together. Lee Gillman is a 5th generation farmer, but a second generation strawberry grower.

Lee says that he enjoys growing the plants, getting them established and ready to produce. “Harvest time is pretty hectic and full of pressure, but I enjoy these early weeks prior to picking, just watching the fields transform from a mass of little seedlings to rows of thriving plants.”
