Wish Farms began growing and marketing Florida blueberries in the 1990s. The Florida blueberry season runs from mid-March through mid-May. During this time frame, Southern Highbush varieties of blueberries are grown, specifically developed to flourish in the Florida weather. These blueberry plants are harvested for multiple consecutive seasons. They are hand-harvested in the field, placed into large buckets, then shipped to Wish Farms’ packing facility. The berries are run through many levels of quality control so that only the highest quality and best tasting blueberries are packaged for you to eat.
Our Florida blueberry farmers work hard and handle their crop with diligent care. We hope you enjoy!
