Dudley Calfee is a strawberry grower for Wish Farms and the General Manager of Ferris Farms. The company’s history dates back to 1931 when "Doc" Ferris began farming on Duval Island in Floral City, FL. Because of the island location, the farm exists in a unique ecosystem with rich soil perfect for farming. Originally the farm began as citrus groves. Today, they continue to grow citrus, in addition to strawberries and blueberries.
The work at Ferris Farms is not so much a job as it is a lifestyle. Dudley and his team are dedicated to freshness and quality and hopes it comes through with each and every bite!
