Chris Parks is a strawberry grower and Field Manager for Wish Farms. The Duette location is Wish Farms’ flagship growing operation that began in 1987 and controls over 1,500 acres, employing over 1,000 workers. From the north side of the property to the southern tip, the land stretches four miles. Wish Farms has the largest contiguous strawberry production outside of California with 600 acres of strawberries – 125 being organic.
Chris has been with Wish Farms since 2001, but he’s been working in the industry full-time since 1993 and grew up around farming his whole life. As the 3rd generation farmer in his family, he has been involved in all aspects of strawberry farming from planting to harvesting. Chris and his team work hard and take a lot of pride in seeing that they supply the best fruit to their customers.
